Vitamin U: From a

Clinical trial: A
clinical trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of concentrated cabbage juice in the treatment of gastric ulcer. Patients were treated with a ulcer diagnosed at San Quentin Prison in a double-blind control trial. One group received cabbage juice concentrate and the other received placebo. Treatment evaluation was based on repeated X-ray examination of the ulcer. A deadline of 22 days was left for the ulcer to heal. The result of the experiment is that cabbage juice concentrate is an effective aid in the healing of peptic ulcer.
Occurrence of Vitamin U: Vitamin
U is found in higher amounts in vegetables (e.g., raw cabbage, especially kale), tomatoes, radishes, asparagus, parsley, celery. It contains about 3-5 sauerkraut. 300 mg of vitamin U.
